Jeeps get modified more than almost anything else on the road, and the ones around here cover the whole range. Bone stock Cherokees doing the commute, Wranglers on a two inch lift and 35s, Gladiators that see mud on Sunday and a job site on Monday. We service all of it, and we will be straight with you about what a build is doing to the rest of the vehicle.
Modifications are not a problem, they are information. A lift changes steering and driveline angles. Larger tires change your effective gearing, ask more of the brakes and wheel bearings, and read the speedometer off until it gets recalibrated. Heavier wheels change how alignment wears in. None of that is a reason to leave a Jeep stock. It just means alignment checks and inspections carry more weight afterward, and it means that when we see something a modification caused, we show you the photo and let you decide what to do about it.
Trail time adds its own list. Water, mud, and sand find differentials, seals, and skid plate hardware, and that is worth a look after a hard weekend instead of three months later. For the Wranglers that never leave pavement, factory scheduled maintenance still matters, and we keep the records so a newer Jeep's factory warranty stays intact. Our ASE certified technicians photograph everything they find and send it to your phone, and the repairs we make are backed 36 months or 36,000 miles nationwide across all six of our shops.

Photos instead of a verdict
Ball joints, bushings, and rust are much easier to understand when you can see them. The digital inspection puts those pictures on your phone before you approve a thing.

Looking for a great mechanic shop its really hard around the area am in. I always pass by Johnnys automotive on haines city and on Dundee RD and just there facility is eye opening. I had issues with my jeep wrangler and I needed someone I can trust with my Jeep. Well I gave Johnny’s automotive a try to look at my jeep with some major issues. The minute I walked into there shop it’s a great atmosphere in Haines city. I was sent videos of my issues and explaining in details whats wrong with my jeep. Peace of mind knowing that they really care about your vehicle. I got my jeep back in 2 days of major work. I have not driven the jeep yet to give it a 5 star but I know that the work is guaranteed at least. I will def keep using Johnny’s Automotive for my future car care. I had my 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee in for an oil leak. Jerry quickly diagnosed the problem. Scheduled appointment for the following day. I dropped the Jeep off with Kevin and Sarah stated they would give me an update later that day. I received a call that my jeep was finished. I came in and when I picked up the jeep, the bill was a little lower than they had originally quoted. It was a great experience for me and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends!
