Do I have to take my Silverado to the dealer?
Chevrolet is everywhere around here. Silverados on job sites, Equinoxes and Traverses on the school run, Malibus and Tahoes putting on highway miles all week. That volume matters when you're picking a shop, because our ASE certified technicians work on these vehicles constantly. Familiar problems get sorted quickly, and the unfamiliar ones get tested instead of guessed at.
You have a real choice between the dealer and an independent shop, and plenty of owners keep a good dealer relationship going. We're independent, not a dealership, and what we offer is a different kind of convenience. Six shops across Haines City, Winter Haven, Lake Wales, Frostproof, Sebring and Wauchula, so service is usually a short drive and not a half day.
Every visit starts with a digital inspection. We photograph what we find and send it to your phone, so you can see the worn belt or the leaking seal yourself before you decide anything. Nothing gets done without your okay, and nothing shows up on the invoice that you haven't already looked at.
We also perform the factory scheduled maintenance in your owner's manual and keep the records, which is what protects a factory warranty. Repairs are covered by our 36 month, 36,000 mile nationwide warranty. Brian and Niki started this shop in 2006 out of a race car garage with one rule, put the customer over the money, and that's still how it runs.

Wonderful experience. I couldn’t believe they told me to come on down and they would get me in right away. Dealership was out 2 weeks just to look at it. Ended up water pump leaking on my Tahoe. I've looked for years for a dependable and experienced place to work on my 1971 Corvette. At one point, I used to have to tdo he work annd myself and with other mechanics. After becoming elderly and disabled, I was unable to o things to keep it going. I took it to Johnnie's Automotive. The staff was informative, congenial, and performed the service in a timely manner. They were also quite fair with the cost of the repair. I recommend them and their excellence as a reliable service dealer .
