In Hardee County we operate as Johnny's Automotive Wauchula, at 201 North 6th Avenue near the center of the county seat. Wauchula is farm and ag country, and the vehicles here earn their keep, so we handle the whole range: brakes, engine and transmission repair, AC, tires, diagnostics and regular maintenance. Why Is My Car's AC Blowing Warm Air?

The vehicle owner reported that the air conditioning was blowing warm air instead of cold.

The team evacuated and recharged the R134A air conditioning system. They verified system pressures, refrigerant levels, and cooling vent temperature. The proper refrigerant and oil capacity were installed, and a leak test was conducted. A UV dye was added to the system to help identify any potential leaks if the issue reoccurs.

The air conditioning system was restored to proper function, blowing cold air once again.

Shift Shudder Starting at 85,000 Miles

The vehicle owner reported experiencing a shift shudder issue that began around 85,000 miles.

The technician removed and replaced the automatic transaxle assembly components as required. Additional fluids and programming might be needed to complete the service. The vehicle may require a break-in period or re-learn process, which can take 200-300 miles.

The vehicle was serviced to address the shift shudder, and the owner was informed about the potential break-in period.
