Jerking When Accelerating and Check Engine Light
What the customer reported
The vehicle was experiencing jerking when accelerating and the check engine light was illuminated.
What we found and did
The technician found that the coolant was acidic, which could damage the water pump, radiator, and thermostat. The team performed a complete coolant system flush using a BG machine to withdraw and flush out all fluids from the engine and radiator. They then refreshed the system with new BG fluid. Additionally, they replaced the valve cover, radiator, coolant reservoir, hoses, spark plugs, and one ignition coil.
Result
The vehicle's performance improved, and the check engine light was no longer illuminated.
Pro Tip
If your vehicle jerks during acceleration, it might be due to issues with the ignition system or coolant condition. Addressing acidic coolant early can prevent costly damage to your engine's components.

What Caused the Brake Fluid to Darken?
What the customer reported
The vehicle owner brought the car in for an oil change and routine maintenance.
What we found and did
The technician found that the brake fluid was dark and absorbing moisture, which indicated it needed to be replaced. The technician performed a BG brake fluid service, flushing the brake system reservoir and lines. They replaced the old fluid with new, clear fluid using a BG fluid kit to ensure optimal brake performance.
Result
The brake system was restored to proper function with new fluid, enhancing safety and reliability.
Pro Tip
Brake fluid should be replaced every 30,000 miles to prevent moisture buildup and maintain braking efficiency. Dark brake fluid is a sign it's time for a change.

The guys Jeff and his assistant are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and kept us informed of what was needed for our vehicle. We really felt like they cared about our car and treated us with respect as valued customers. They kept us informed of the status of our car without having to chase them down like at other mechanic/repair shops. In addition, Jeff and his staff even gave us a loaner car until the repairs were completed on our car. We will definitely come back for maintenance and any time we have car issues. This shop has been around for six years and is clean, have rest rooms, and snacks for their customers( which my husband loves to indulge ever time we visit). Can you set up a maintenance schedule for me?
Yes. We'll build it off your manufacturer's intervals and how you use the car, then keep it in your file so each visit picks up where the last one left off. You'll know what's coming next and roughly when, instead of finding out at the counter.
What happens if you find something during a maintenance visit?
We photograph it, send it to your phone, and tell you whether it needs doing now or can wait. Plenty of things can wait, and we'd rather say that than sell you a service you don't need yet. Nothing gets done without you saying yes to it first.
