The technician found that the bulb in the rear blinker was incorrect. The technician had the correct bulb in stock and replaced it at our Lake Wales shop. The notes add that further testing may be needed for a complete answer.

After the correct bulb went in, the technician noted that all was OK at that time.

The vehicle owner reported the battery was dead and said a new one was needed.

The technician installed a Die Hard AGM battery at our Lake Wales shop. The technician also found the throttle body was dirty and performed a BG Platinum Fuel Service, which the notes list as overdue by 4,801 miles with no history. The service included installing BG 44K into the fuel tank, servicing the air intake and fuel systems with specialized chemical and tooling, then checking and test driving the vehicle.

The vehicle owner reported a cylinder misfire on the truck, which started when the check engine light came on twice. There were no physical symptoms at the time and the owner asked the shop to check and advise.

The technician found cylinder #8 misfiring during the initial assessment, which was done at no charge. A compression test passed, and the next step noted was swapping injectors, with added labor if a failed injector was confirmed. The team started with a BG GDI / Fuel Injection Cleaning (4 part) at our Lake Wales shop and re-tested, which was noted as overdue by 84,239 miles.

After the cleaning, the notes recorded no misfires at that time.

The vehicle owner brought the vehicle in for an AC concern after being told elsewhere that it needed an evaporator and being quoted 4k. She asked the shop to verify, check and advise.

At our Lake Wales shop, the system had 0.00 lbs of freon when the technician connected the AC equipment. The team evacuated the system, recharged it with R134A refrigerant and oil, and added UV dye so any leak could be traced with special UV glasses if the vehicle blows warm again. The evaporator core was also removed and replaced during the visit.
