Suspension is a traction system first and a comfort system second. Everything your car does, braking, steering, accelerating, happens through four patches of rubber about the size of your hand. The suspension's whole job is keeping those patches pressed against the pavement over bumps, dips and railroad crossings. When it stops doing that well, the car doesn't just ride rougher. It takes longer to stop and it gets less honest about following the wheel.
In plain words, the springs carry the weight of the car. The shocks or struts control what the springs do next, so the body settles once instead of bouncing three times. Control arms, links and bushings hold every piece in its correct place while the wheel travels up and down. The steering rack and tie rods point the front wheels where you aimed them. Take one of those jobs away and the remaining parts start doing work they were never designed to do.
The tricky part is that suspension wear arrives slowly. Nothing breaks on a Tuesday. Bushings soften over years, dampers lose their grip on the motion a little at a time, and you adapt to all of it without noticing, right up until you drive a newer version of your own car and wonder why it feels so planted.
Repairs on this side of the shop cover a wide range. Sometimes it's one sway bar link. Sometimes it's a full corner: strut, control arm, bearing, and an alignment to finish. If you're still at the stage of hearing a noise you can't name yet, that's a diagnostic visit rather than a repair estimate, and we'll start there instead of guessing at parts.

Looking for a great mechanic shop its really hard around the area am in. I always pass by Johnnys automotive on haines city and on Dundee RD and just there facility is eye opening. I had issues with my jeep wrangler and I needed someone I can trust with my Jeep. Well I gave Johnny’s automotive a try to look at my jeep with some major issues. The minute I walked into there shop it’s a great atmosphere in Haines city. I was sent videos of my issues and explaining in details whats wrong with my jeep. Great service, reasonable prices. I had four new tires installed and needed a front end alignment before I left on a long trip. Johnny's Automotive was able to get me in the same day. Alignment was done without any issues , vehicle drives better after the alignment. No telling how long it needed an alignment. Thank you for excellent service, will be back.

Always super impressed with not only the quality of work done to handle the vehicles, but also the time and attention the staff gives to their customers. Everyone that I've noticed works as a cohesive unit putting so much hard work and effort into everything. The air suspension system failed on my Grand Marquis. Aaron and Harold worked on the problem and found a ride height sensor lever had “popped” off. Harold reconnected it and I was on my way home in less time than grocery shopping. Thank you, gentlemen. I highly recommend Johnny’s Automotive LLC.
